Somatic Movement, Mindful Awareness & Space of Transformation
What would it feel like to truly embody
wellness deep in your bones?
What is your body whispering beneath the noise?
What kind of wellness do you truly crave when no one’s watching?
How do you sustain your energy while holding space for others?
When exhaustion, tension, and disconnection are no longer temporary states, something deeper begins to call.
At that point a sustainable change become essential.

My name is
Paloma De la Paz, founder of Bal Phora
My path has been shaped by movement, both as a physical practice and as a way of life. I’ve learned that not every move is a correct one, and that presence in the space between movement and stillness is just as essential as the movement itself.
Through Bal Phora, I work with others on a similar journey, combining tools for deep listening, self-regulation, conscious movement, and cleansing practices.
My guidance is eclectic and rooted in the understanding that connecting with the body is a pathway to deep transformation.

How we help
We cultivate deep reconnection with yourself through Somatic Movement, Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Yoga, Ayurveda and mindful practices. Here, your body doesn’t just participate in the journey, it leads it.
Think of yoga, but not the kind you're used to; this is about sensing and experiencing your body in its own authenticity, not performing with it.
We don’t replace medical, psychological, or manual therapies like physiotherapy or osteopathy, but a meaningful practice that honors your personal process.
Exploring your patterns of movement and rest.
To cultivate more sustainable habits that align with your current energy and rhythm.
Listening to your body as a compass for key decisions.
Your body carries wisdom and rhythm. Learning to follow it can help you lead with more clarity and less burnout.
Finding moments of grounding as you hold space for others.
With tools to regulate your nervous system and come back to yourself, so you can give from a nourished place.
Creating somatic rituals for your daily life.
Simple yet powerful practices that integrate body, mind, and space, to support both your personal and your day-to-day commitments.
Releasing physical and emotional tension.
Through embodied movement, conscious breath, and body awareness. Without analysis or interpretation.
By cultivating presence in the body, we create space for vitality and inner joy.
Beyond tension and doing, your body holds the memory of what it feels like to be whole.

Join the Next Session
These group sessions combine tools that activate the body’s natural relaxation response through the face, considered a center of essential functions: breathing, eating, speaking, sensing, seeing, and expressing ourselves.
The face is closely connected to the vagus nerve, which links the brain with the heart, lungs, and other key organs. By gently stimulating it, we cultivate healthy vagal tone, fostering calm, emotional regulation, and a deep connection with ourselves.

FAQ's
1. Therapeutic Yoga
In Quebec only, as a member of the ANQ, I provide receipts that are generally accepted for most insurance companies for reimbursement.
Those who have experienced it describe it as a deeply personal and conscious space, where they rediscover their ability to actively influence their well-being.
All forms of yoga support well-being, each offering something unique. However, therapeutic yoga carefully adapts to your unique needs.
At Bal Phora, the journey begins with listening. When the body feels heard and understood, it begins to soften, and from that softening, space opens for balance and deeper connection.
These sessions are intended to support your physical, emotional, and nervous system wellbeing through accessible and informed tools:
→ Rediscover your body as a living space and experience life from within it.
→ Address postural patterns that often lead to discomfort, chronic tension, or pain.
→ Support joint health and fascia release to improve mobility and restore natural energy levels.
→ Enhance oxygenation through breath-centered practices, essential for mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall vitality.
→ Stimulate the vagus nerve with facial exercises that promote both facial harmony and nervous system regulation.
→ Offer a trauma-informed container that weaves conscious movement, grounding rituals, and mindful breathing to restore a sense of inner safety.
→ If you're simply looking to improve your yoga asana practice and physical strength. Bal Phora offers tools to help you move better, breathe better, and feel better.
These practices do not replace medical or psychological care, but they can gently and effectively complement other healing processes.
If you feel that sharing a session with someone may support your process, we can consider it with care. It’s a beautiful way to explore connection, mutual support, and shared self-regulation through conscious movement.
Please note that this is not a regular modality nor a “Balance in Duo” session, but rather an adaptation of your individual journey. At least 24 hours' notice is required.
We start with one session, and you choose the pace; however, we recommend beginning with 3 to 6 sessions, especially if we are working on postural habits, emotional release through movement, or somatic awareness. This gives us a solid foundation to observe how your body and nervous system respond. From there, we can reassess based on how you feel.
Our goal is to provide you with tools that support your long-term well-being, always adapting to your rhythm. One breath at a time, one session at a time, you decide when to start, pause, or stop.
2. Balance in Duo
Balance in Duo is designed to help you discover a more genuine and sensitive way of connecting. Your body becomes the language: heartbeats, breath, silence, gaze; everything turns into presence.
Communication becomes intuitive, empathic. Through movement, mutual support and playful interaction, you enter a safe space where the physical, the emotional, and even the unspoken come together.
It’s not just about “doing something together,” but about feeling together in sync. Every session invites you to rediscover each other with new eyes and a deeper sense of connection.
That works beautifully too. Balance in Duo can be experienced as a lighthearted, joyful, and memorable activity. Laughing, playing, discovering new ways to move and cooperate with someone you care about.
You don’t need any experience, just the willingness to share your presence and your body. Every exercise is designed to spark connection, empathy, and fun. It’s a great way to step out of routine and create meaningful, shared moments.
Each session is a blend of play, connection, and shared movement, like a dance between two bodies that listen to each other, support each other, and expand together in the same rhythm.
The sessions are carefully designed for each level, crafted with creativity, humor, and attention to detail so every moment brings a surprise, a laugh, and shared respect.
It’s not just a series of partner poses; it’s a living, sensory experience that cultivates perception, trust, and the ability to listen to oneself and to the other. Sometimes more meditative, sometimes choreographic, but always unique, because every duo is unique.
3. Método Vagal
Each session applies a method developed by Bal Phora and practiced for over years, with observable results in physical and emotional well-being.
In this space, we work with gentle and mindful movements that tone, activate, and relax the facial muscles, accompanied by shared pauses that invite presence, calm, and a deeper connection with yourself and with the group, beyond roles or expectations.
Whether you participate once or several times, the experience remains alive, and you can join whenever your body needs it.
General
That’s possible. While our therapeutic approach emphasizes listening and internal balance, if your goal is to build strength, increase mobility, or deepen your asana practice, we can consciously and safely integrate these objectives.
The key is to move forward with respect for your body, aligning with your true needs, without forcing, embracing presence, discipline, and creativity.
Many clients around the world have experienced deep connection and transformation, even through the screen. We use interactive tools that allow us to guide you, provide real-time feedback, and ensure each session is safe, effective, and deeply nourishing.
To make the most of the experience, a stable internet connection and a suitable device with a functioning camera and microphone are required.
During the free consultation we take the time to understand your needs, goals, and the life stage you are currently in.
You'll also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the methods we use and how they can be integrated into your unique context.
*A constultation is not a session.
At Bal Phora, we believe that well-being is not a goal, but a relationship:
a relationship with yourself, with your story, with the space you inhabit, and with the way you choose to move through the world alongside others.
Here, every step matters; every pause, every gesture, every emotion, every breath… everything deserves to be honored.
